Passage

In the world of Westeros, the Targaryen dynasty ruled for nearly three centuries. They were dragonlords — men and women who rode fire-breathing dragons into battle. When King Viserys I died, a terrible conflict began. His daughter Rhaenyra believed the throne was hers by right. But her half-brother Aegon II was crowned king instead. This split the kingdom in two. Noble families chose sides. Dragons fought dragons in the sky. Cities burned. The war was called the Dance of the Dragons — not a celebration, but a bloodbath. In the end, both Rhaenyra and Aegon II lost everything. The real winner was the enemy they never saw coming: exhaustion, grief, and the end of an era. The dragons slowly disappeared, and the Targaryen power faded like smoke in the wind.
